Small Victories

Today, I didn't get around to making the bed until early afternoon. But, as I entered our bedroom and saw the unmade bed, it bugged me more than it typically does, and I felt so much better once it was made!

I know this isn't an issue for most of you, but, like Amanda leaving the breakfast things out during breakfast, this, for me, is kind of huge.  I'm getting hooked on the few minutes it takes to make our bed every day!

  1. I love a "made" bed. It makes the rest of the room seem cleaner even if it's not :) Go Z!

  2. The energy that comes from seeing a pretty bed is /definitely/ more than the energy it requires to make it. That habit is one I have only had a few times in my life, but oh, I will have it again!

  3. The only point I see in making a bed is so it's easier to fold clothes on. Maybe it's just because I never had a pretty bed...

Good for you to make a good (the seemingly futile) habit for the sake of having a neat and clean home. :-)
